Karl Strauss, San Diego’s longest continuously operating post-Prohibition brewing company, will release Follow the Sun Lager as a new core beer at its five San Diego County locations in 4S Ranch, Carlsbad, Downtown, San Marcos, and Sorrento Mesa. The light-bodied brew, which is 4.2% alcohol-by-volume (ABV), is pale golden in color and has tasting notes of light malt, citrus, and floral. It’s available on draft and in to-go six packs of 12-oz cans. Total Wine & More stores throughout Southern California will soon carry the beer as well.
